Dr. Case Merritt, DC
Dr. Case Merritt is a chiropractor and lifelong athlete dedicated to helping active individuals move better, perform at a higher level, and stay doing what they love. Raised in South Georgia, Dr. Merritt developed a passion for sports and physical activity at an early age. Wrestling became his primary focus throughout high school, where a neck injury during his senior year threatened to end his final season. Through chiropractic care and rehabilitation, he was able to recover, return to competition, and ultimately compete in the state finals. This experience sparked his passion for chiropractic care and his mission to help others overcome setbacks and return to the activities that matter most to them. Dr. Merritt earned both his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life University. During his time there, he was a member of the 2020 NAIA National Championship wrestling team. Following his wrestling career, he transitioned to Olympic weightlifting, where he competed at the national level and earned silver and bronze medals at the 2023 U23 National Championships in Colorado Springs. After graduating, Dr. Merritt spent over a year practicing in Atlanta, gaining experience helping a diverse range of patients, including athletes, active adults, and individuals looking to overcome pain and improve their quality of life. As the founder of Elevate Spine & Performance, Dr. Merritt takes an evidence-based approach to musculoskeletal health and performance. His treatment philosophy combines chiropractic care, movement assessment, exercise prescription, and patient education to help patients not only recover from injury, but build the strength, confidence, and resilience needed to continue doing what they love. Dr. Merritt works with athletes, fitness enthusiasts, and active individuals of all backgrounds. Whether the goal is returning to sport, improving performance in the gym, or simply moving through daily life with less pain, every patient receives individualized care built around their goals. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Merritt enjoys strength training, traveling, and spending time with his wife, Taylor, as they prepare to welcome their first daughter, along with their golden retriever, Kilo.
